Adiel is baptized

October 31st 2009 was a special day for Adiel. Not because it was Halloween, but because that's when he got baptized. It was a great day! A girl from his primary class was baptized too on the same day since their birthdays are only 11 days apart. Isla is actually a cousin to Adiel's cousin so they're almost related :) I still remember when Isla's mum and I were pregnant and had due dates only 2 days apart and hers was before mine. However Adiel saw the light of day sooner. Just look how big they are now!



Isla's dress is actually my old dress. I didn't get baptized in it, but I wore when my mum got married. I was 9 then. Two of Adiel's cousins have worn that dress on their baptism day and now Isla wore it too.

I was happy that so many of our relatives and friends were there. I spent my vacation week on planning and baking and was pretty happy with how everything turned out.


All and all, it was a great day!
