It's about time

I update my blog! I've been neglecting it lately. I realised that my last post was about our white Christmas. Well, it didn't end there. The snowing, that is. No, we got more snow. And more. And even more. And just a little bit more...until nearly everyone were wishing that it would stop! I personally prefer snow for rain in the finnish winter so I didn't mind, but then again, I live in a unit so I won't have to shovel it.

Well, the downside to all the snowing was that the public transportation was in chaos. The trains weren't running and the buses were always late and that was driving me mad. In fact so mad, that we finally decided to go for car shopping.

It's a Ford Focus 1999.

Apart from the public transportation giving us headaches, whe've enjoyed this winter very much. Have a look:

For winter holiday this year we went to my dad's place. He lives about 150 km away from us. Actually it was just me and the kids traveling there. Teemu stayed home to work on his thesis. It turns out that my dad had bought a rottweiler puppy and the kids were over excited!

Our new camera has failed us, so these pics are with the old one.

One Saturday afternoon we decided to go ice-skating on the sea. They've made this route there for tour skating, but you can also go there just for some quality time with the family. We invited also my brother-in-law and his family (or part of it).

Love it! Was that a guy pushing a pram along the sea? Looked so much fun.

Yes Suzi. It was a guy pushing a pram while skating. I think it is good thing to take kids along early on. ;-D

Ice skating on the sea looks fantastic. My boys would love that, you don't have to keep going round in circles like in an ice rink. Those are the deepest snow angels i've ever seen.
